The Greek –German Association Philos in the city of Nuremberg in Germany donated computers to the municipality of Kavala in Greece. Students throughout all grades and the municipality’s social services will be given 26 computers.
During the last three years, more than 100 computers have been sent to the Kavala from its sister city in Germany. The cost of all transports until now has been undertaken by the Public Benefit Organization of the Municipality of Kavala Dimofelia.
The Philos Association aims at “promoting the intercultural understanding” between Germans and Greeks in Nuremberg and surroundings. German citizens, as well as Greek migrants with a long presence in the region, are the association’s members.
