Russian, Greek Entrepreneurs Go International

go-international_F21093Significant interest in further strengthening the trade relations between Greece and Russia, has resulted from the first meetings held with Greek export companies’ representatives who are in Moscow.

They were part of the Go International business delegation organized by Eurobank in cooperation with the export agencies of SEVE (Exporters ‘Association of Northern Greece), PEA (Panhellenic Exporters Association), EAC (Exporters’ Association of Crete) and SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On May 27 and 28, in the Russian capital more than 2000 business meetings were to be held between Greek and Russian businessmen, who aim to close as many agreements as possible so as to promote Greek products in the Russian market.

Additionally, in cooperation with Invest in Greece, a Real Estate Workshop is organized that includes a brief presentation of the Greek companies’ investment opportunities in real estate in Greece.

As part of the business delegation, a forum was scheduled with the participation of Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas. From the perspective of Greek enterprises, over 40% of those participating in the delegation are in the field of food and beverage, 8% are being active in the high-tech field, 7% in building materials, 5% in real estate and 4,5% in cosmetics.

Additionally, there are also entries in the sectors of tourism, religious items, services, chemicals and plastics, energy, pharmaceutical and packaging.
