At the suggestion of the Greek-Australian Councilor, Angela Vithoulkas, the City of Sydney will now provide a special place in the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of New South Wales, giving them the chance to exhibit their traditional costumes, jewelry and all the Greek traditional items collected during its 61 years of existence.
“I am very happy that my proposal was passed unanimously,” stated Vithoulkas, “and I wish that the Lyceum Club of Greek Women will properly utilize the space given so we can all admire and enjoy all these precious exhibits.”
“The Lyceum will be as well given the opportunity to pass all objects on lists and digitize them, in order to provide more information on their place of origin, their use, and all other relevant information,” the councilor highlighted.
