Two Greek TV channels have expressed their interest in the new Greek-Australian series Dream of a Shadow.
Dream of a Shadow is a drama series that tells the story of Spiros, an immigrant who has recently arrived in Melbourne from Greece, armed only with his irresistible charm and with a new dream.
The series aims at promoting the difficulties Greek people have to deal with when moving to another country. Dream of a Shadow also aims at making people in other countries delete from their memory some inflammatory characterizations of Greeks, such as lamogia, thieves, and sloughs.
The actors starring are Spiros Cheliotis, Nikita Ballas, Themis Tzanis, Stratos Rodney Attalidis, Ioanna Pilichou, Sunny Hatziargiri, Alexis Katerinis, Alexandros Laskaridis, Hollie Nilsson, George Papadakis, Christina Kato, Monica Eklund, Rebecca Catalina and Tanya Jani.
The series is set in Melbourne and Athens and is produced by Tom Kondo, Spiros Cheliotis, Christina Kato and Nikita Ballas.
