Days of Greek Cinema in Nuremberg

The Greek Art Club of Nuremberg in cooperation with Nuremberg Municipality’s Cultural Service Kunst Kultur Quartier Nurnberg and the Greek Film Centre are organizing The Days of Greek Cinema which will be held from Nov. 28-Dec. 3.  In the opening of the film festival, the Oscar award-nominated film, Unfair World directed by Fillipos Tsitos will be presented.

As a part of the 3rd film festival dedicated to Greek Cinema, new alternative Greek movies are going to be presented. Some of them are: Alps, Attenberg, Nisos2, Christmas Tango, Athanasia,  as well as the classical film Never On Sunday with Melina Mercouri.

The festival will be attended by various Greek actors and directors giving the opportunity to Greek Friends of Cinema to meet and discuss just after each screening. As special action organized this year, a short film competition entitled My Picture of Greece will present films directed by students and young directors of Nuremberg who express, their view of Greek reality.
