Greeks Battling for Victory at the London Olympics on Monday July 30

Greek athletes are doing their best during the London Olympics in an effort to return to their homeland with dozens of Gold Medals.
Efthymis Mittas is competing in shooting at 11:00 am. Nikos Mavromatis is competing at 12 noon. The qualifiers will be completed on Tuesday noon while the finals will take place in the afternoon the same day (six athletes will participate).
Julietta Boukouvala will compete later at 11:30 am at the 57 kilo section of judo against Loupelei Kompas from Cuba, and if she wins, she will fight against Russian Sabludina.
Greek athletes Giannis Drymonakos and Stefanos Dimitriadis will compete in swimming at 12:30 pm, and they are expected to do their best to make it to the semi-finals that are due for tonight.
During the rowing games today, our athletes Papachristos Stergios, Giorgos Tziallas, Giannis Tsilis and Giannis Christoy will compete at 1 pm.
Table tennis player Kallinikos Kreanga faces Danish Michael Maze at 1 pm at the Excel arena, while our Panagiotis Gkionis will fight against Japanese Seiya Kishikawa two hours later.
Greeks have a strong presence at the sailing games with Dionysis Dimou/Michael Pateniotis (49er), Anna Agrafioti (Laser radial) and Vaggelis Chimonas (Laser). The first two sailing routes will start at 12 noon with these classes, while they are due to continue with the third and fourth route with Men’s Star (Papathanasiou/Tsotras) and Men’s Finn (Mittakia) at 2 pm.
Beach volley athletes Vicky Arvaniti and Maria Tsartsiani will compete in their second game during the Horse Guards Parade tournament at 6:30 pm today.
Archer Evaggelia Psarra competes against Indian Laishram for the 64 Women’s FITA Olympic round 1/16 eliminations.
