Woman Shot Dead by Colleague in Piraeus Post Office

A woman, 30 years old, has been shot dead in a shooting at a post office in Piraeus.
The woman, a post office employee, was shot by a postman shortly before 10am on Thursday morning. The 36-year-old stormed into the office, took out a pistol and shot the woman at least twice, without any prior exchange of words.
Media reports suggest that the two had been involved in a relationship, although this has not been confirmed.
The postman and the victim had worked together at the post office in the western Piraeus suburb of Keratsini, from where the woman asked for a transfer.
Thursday was her first day on the job at Piraeus post office.
The man, 36, has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
