Turkish Airlines Establishes 6 Flights Per Week from Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki will be coming one step closer to the rest of the world from March 28. Starting from tomorrow, Turkish Airlines will operate six flights per week from the Greek port city, which will enhance tourism, trade and business travelling.
Since now the Greek city’s airport had four flights per week to Istanbul.
In his press conference at Grand Hotel Palace, the manager of Turkish Airlines in Thessaloniki, Utku Yazan, presented the new weekly flight schedule. The Greek airport will transport passengers to Turkey every day at 15:40 except on Thursday.
The Turkish manager noted that despite the current economic hardships, Thessaloniki and the broader region of Macedonia and Thrace have great potential for development and growth.
The establishing of the daily line connecting the two cities will raise the complementary rates of the Turkish national flag carrier at 80%.
