The new issue of the journal “Elliniki, Diethnis Glossa” (trns.: Greek as an International Language) includes articles on the GRIKO Conference in Athens, the revival of the Nemean Games, the 8th Conference ‘Hellenic Language and Terminology’ and the Programs for teaching Greek Language in Cairo.
One of the highlights in the newest issue is an article by Professor Argyro Kasotaki-Gatopoulou on the existence of a unique Department of Hellenic Studies at Hankuk University in North Korea. Argyro Kasotaki is teaching the Greek language at this Department and informs us about the interest that Korean students show in Greek language and culture.
The Greek journal brings readers closer to all developments concerning the Greek language through its mail, organization of events and book presentations.
The journal is issued every 3 months, and has been since 1990, and distributed with no cost to consignees in 76 countries, including universities and schools where the Greek language is being taught.
