The new elected Greek Consul General to Adrianople, Aikaterini Varvarigou visited the Tekirdağ province. The Mayor Adem Dalgic.Mayor Adem Dalgic wished luck to Varvarigou for her new duties and informed her about the work of Tekirdağ province.
Dalgic also expressed his outrage about the ongoing economic crisis in Greece, stating that Greeks can pull through economic crisis with work and production. “We, as municipalities of Thrace, are ready to cooperate with Greece, by bringing closer Turkish businessmen to Greece”, the Mayor added.
On her part, Consul General Varvarigou stated that she will secure visa requirements facilitation to Turkish citizens, adding that the contact between the two countries can improve their relations as well.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Mayor Sinan Cepis and the head of financial services Zeki Sezen.
