A Metropolis Council meeting was held in Toronto, chaired by Metropolitan Soterios. The meeting was completed in a collaborative and understanding atmosphere.
The attendees of the meeting were highly satisfied, as the Metropolis of Canada has made great progress. More specifically, youth conferences are regularly organized by the Metropolis. Future plans were clearly defined during the Assembly.
Metropolis is currently attempting to build a church in Oshawa and is constructing the summer camping places in Jack Lake.
Metropolitan Soterios underlined the appreciation of the Church to the members of the meeting and especially his respect to the Consuls General of Greece, Cyprus and Canada D. Azemopoulos, I. Kirakosian and E. Agelopoulos respectively for attending the Meeting of the New Metropolis Council.
Finally, the new executive committee was also elected during the meeting:
