It's Official, Mosque in Athens

The mosque issue will be officially voted in the Greek Parliament in the following Tuesday and after that actions for further construction will be undertaken.
The mosque will be placed in Votanikos, where the Old Navy was, but it will be smaller than the initial plan. It will have occupancy of 350 people instead of 500.
There will be no minaret and Imamis will be appointed by the ministry itself, which will undertake all payrolls.
The ministry of Transport and Infrastructure undertook the construction of the building. The initial plan was to spend 15 million euros on this construction but the final decision points that only 80% of this amount is going to be used.
For saving reasons the Ministry decided not to build a new building but to use an old one, because this will cost less.
According to the plan, the first construction will start within the next 4 months.
