The first routes of the ”Anek- Superfast” consortium in the Pireaus- Heraklion line and Patra-Igoumenitsa- Ancona line start June 8th, initiating a new era in the Greek coastal navigation.
”Through the new partnership which will run for three years, a significant improvement of the Pireaus- Heraklion line will be achieved through the modern ship ”Olympic Champion’. However, the capacity offered in Patra- Igoumenitsa- Ancoca is changing, in order to meet the real needs of the line and to maintain the high-quality services that are available today”, stressed the two companies. ”Overall, the new partnership will create new dynamic growth of the two lines, allowing for the escalating operating costs of the ships, as prices of fuel oil have been excessively increased.”
