Another Turkish series becomes the apple of discord for Greek TV channels. “Ikinci Bahar”, which means “Second Spring”, is a lot like the Greek film “A Touch of Spice”. Those who loved Tasos Mpoulmetis’ film are definitely going to like the Turkish series, which presents the country’s gastronomic culture with Lucullean feasts and lots of recipes and secondly, a fiery love. “Spring” has been on Turkish TV for three seasons and audiences really loved it. Apart from the delicious foods that parade in front of cameras, the series is quite successful thanks to its talented cast. Among the actors who played, was famous Turkish actress Tourkan Soray. It is estimated that almost 15 million people watched all three seasons, while the day of the last episode streets were empty, as everyone was watching their favorite series. It is said that the production was quite expensive, which is normal, considering the cast and the external shootings. It’s worth saying that the series was on Turkish TV from 1999 until 2002, but until recently the prices in the international markets were very high. According to information, two Greek channels are already interested in the series, which probably means that next season it’s going to be on Greek TV as well.
