The General Consulate of Greece in Chicago and Northeastern Illinois University are organizing on the 26th of March, a celebration for the Greek Independence-Heritage Day. The event will take place at the amphitheatre of the university in cooperation with the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago and the U.S.A Region of the Greek Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE). The celebration will be attended by Metropolitan Iakovos of Chicago, Consul General of Greece A. Petrovas, U.S. Regional Coordinator Theodoros Spyropoulos, American officers and representatives of other Greek organizations abroad.
