The deadline for nominations for the “Miss Greek Independence Day” pageant falls on Saturday, February 26th. This is an annual pageant. It is organized by the Federation of Hellenic Societies of greater New York. The pageant will be held on Saturday, March 5th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Stathakeion Center, located in the heart of Astoria. According to recent information, nine young women are nominated and six more women are expected to run.
