For the fourth consecutive year, Milan will host the festival “Milan Meets Greece”. The event will take place from March 8th to 13th, at the “Piccolo Teatro”. The festival will host several performances and events, such as the theatrical play “Μ.Α.Ι.Ρ.Ο.Υ.Λ.Α”, by the National Theater of Greece, the play “Erimos” (“Desert”), directed by Theodoros Terzopoulos, photo exhibitions of Lizi Kalliga and Giorgos Chatzimichalis and many other events.
“The goal of the festival is to create an annual platform, which will support young and older Greek artists and help them present their work in Milan”, said Alexandra Papadopoulou, art director of the festival. The festival is under the egis of the Ministry of Culture, the General Consulate of Greece to Milan, and the Municipality of Milan.
