The Palestinian flag was raised over the Athens Concert Hall on Friday. The raising of the flag is in preparation for a performance by the Palestine Youth Orchestra on Sunday.
Greek President and Palestinian negotiator Nabil Sha’ath are expected to attend the concert along with a number of Greek Ministers.
The orchestra is made up of 55 Palestinian musicians and 25 musicians from the Arab world, all aged between 24 and 26. Four Greek musicians will join the orchestra for the performance.
