Τhe steelwork factory Halyvourgiki burst into flames in Aspropyrgos, Greece.
Some workers have been seriously injured and have already been transported to Thriasio Hospital. One of them has been reported to be in critical condition. According to information from the Fire Department, the fire started from rubbish and flammable materials expanded into one of the funnels used to melt metals. The flames have now been limited with the help of the fire forces. The fire still burns oil and other materials. Thirty firefighters and 10 Fire trucks have taken part in the operation.
An investigation has already started to find out how the fire started.
