The family’s summer recap featured boat rides across turquoise waters, a visit to Athens’ iconic historic landmark, a trip to an amusement park, and cozy movie nights together.

Resting Ahead of the NBA Season
The relaxed family getaway comes as Antetokounmpo prepares for his upcoming debut season with the Miami Heat. The superstar will be missing Greece’s August games in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers, as the Heat take a cautious approach to managing his workload and managing injury risks following a demanding past season.
While Antetokounmpo previously reaffirmed his strong commitment to representing the national team whenever possible, Greece will have to navigate its critical qualification match against Ukraine on August 28 and group-leading Spain on August 31 without him.
