Nafplio is the epicenter of the yachting world this weekend as it welcomes the global yachting elite for the 11th Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS). From May 2nd to May 6th, 2026, under the auspices of the Greek Yachting Association (GYA), the city becomes the heart of the international luxury charter industry, drawing professionals and enthusiasts from every corner of the globe.

As the world’s largest exhibition of its kind, MEDYS has become the definitive benchmark for Greek yachting. It stands as the only event in Greece of this magnitude dedicated exclusively to the pinnacle of luxury crewed charters.

The Argolic Gulf has been transformed by the arrival of over 94 majestic vessels—selected from more than 130 applications—bringing a vibrant energy to the historic port. Highlights of the fleet include the 56m Benetti AELIA, the 42m Codecasa ABILITY, and the 27m Azimut AGIO, offering international brokers a premier opportunity to inspect the top choices for the upcoming summer season.

The event serves as a comprehensive networking hub. Beyond the docks, the Chefs’ Competition remains a fan favorite, where onboard culinary masters showcase world-class gastronomy. The show officially kicks off this evening with an opening ceremony at the port, followed by an exclusive reception at the iconic Bourtzi Fortress.
