Christophoros Papakaliatis and Klelia Andriolatou are currently in Budapest, Hungary, for the filming of the new fourth season of the hit drama series, Maestro in Blue.
The two stars of the popular Netflix show traveled to the Hungarian capital with their crew and shared behind-the-scenes glimpses with fans via social media. On Sunday, both Papakaliatis and Andriolatou posted photos from the Maestro set on Instagram.
Papakaliatis, the series creator, director, and lead actor, captioned his post: “Christmas in Budapest for the new episodes of Maestro. Klelia in Budapest! Always wonderful to shoot in this magical city. Backstage Christmas shooting Maestro. New episodes.”
The series is set to return with its fourth season, following previous filming locations that included Paxos, Corfu, and Athens. The new episodes will feature the core characters, Klelia and Orestis, in the Budapest setting.
Notably, Season 4 will also introduce new faces, including the talented actor Giorgos Chrysostomou. Klelia Andriolatou also shared her own post, simply writing “Behind the scenes” for the series, scheduled to return on both Netflix and MEGA. In November, Alter Ego Media officially announced the decision to proceed with the fourth season of the major production.
Their statement read, in part: “Alter Ego Media and MEGA are pleased to announce that the production of the fourth season of the MEGA phenomenon series, Maestro, which will premiere globally on Netflix, is moving ahead at an intensive pace. Christoforos Papakaliatis is filming on the beloved island of Paxos and directing the all-star cast of Maestro, which returns in full to MEGA, alongside new additions.”
