The $600 million superyacht Blue, owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, the current owner of Premier League champions Manchester City, was spotted off the coast of Greece’s Kalamata, on Monday.
Stretching 160 meters (525 feet), the vessel is regarded as one of the most luxurious yachts in the world, with annual operating costs estimated at $60 million. Designed by British architect Terence Disdale, the floating palace has every amenity imaginable.
Onboard features include a hammam, private movie theater, helipad, gym, and multiple jacuzzis. The yacht can host 48 guests across 24 lavish suites, while accommodating up to 80 crew members.
Its previous stop was Golfo Aranci, a quaint fishing village on the northeast coast of Sardinia, Italy, before entering Greek waters. It remains unclear whether the Sheikh will remain in Kalamata or continue his journey to another destination.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, 54, is Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and a prominent member of Abu Dhabi’s influential ruling family.
He is also a powerful businessman and political figure, overseeing investments through the Abu Dhabi United Group. His acquisition of Manchester City in 2008 transformed the club into a global football powerhouse, backed by billions in state-linked resources.
Under Mansour’s ownership, Manchester City has secured multiple Premier League titles and domestic cups. The club also secured its first UEFA Champions League trophy in 2023. Beyond football, he is linked to wide-ranging investments in energy, real estate, and finance, making him one of the wealthiest individuals in global sports.
His luxury assets, including the Blue superyacht, highlight both his immense personal fortune and the wider influence of Gulf capital in international football and global sporting culture.
