Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said the US Department of Justice will release more documents about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein today, February 27, 2025.
Bondi spoke on Fox News with host Jesse Watters. She called the files “pretty sick” and said they would reveal more details about Epstein’s crimes.
Calls for full disclosure grow stronger
Bondi’s statement follows growing demands from both political sides to release more details about Epstein’s connections. Many have called for the disclosure of his alleged client list.
Bondi said the documents have been in her possession for some time. She confirmed they will be made public but with parts blacked out to protect the victims’ identities.
She revealed that more than 250 victims have been identified so far. She described the number as they will “make you sick.”

During her conversation with Jesse Watters, Bondi stressed “We have to make sure that their identity is protected and their personal information,” alluding to the sensitive nature of the documents. “I think tomorrow, Jesse – breaking news right now – you’re going to see some Epstein information being released by my office.”
May include flight records, names, and other details
Bondi also confirmed that the release will include flight records, names, and other key details. The new information could expose more about Epstein’s connections and the influential people linked to him.
The Justice Department’s decision to release these files adds another chapter to the ongoing investigation into Epstein’s crimes and those who may have helped him.
“It’s pretty sick what that man did… along with his co-defendant,” Bondi said, emphasizing the disturbing nature of the case.
The release of documents linked to Epstein has been a heated issue in US politics. Lawmakers from both parties have pushed for full disclosure of materials connected to his crimes.
Two key figures in this effort are Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna and Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert.
Luna, who leads a task force focused on government transparency, has played a major role in advocating for the public release of these files.
The push to release Epstein-related documents follows President Trump’s pledge to increase government transparency. During his campaign, Trump showed interest in making these files public. After taking office, he signed an executive order directing agencies to create plans for sharing federal records and improving transparency, as reported by Lawyer Monthly.
Epstein files part of a larger investigation
The demand for Epstein’s files is part of a larger push for government transparency. It also connects to other major historical investigations.
Rep. Luna, who leads the task force, has emphasized that releasing Epstein’s documents is just one step. Her team is also working to uncover details about other high-profile events, including the September 11 attacks, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the origins of COVID-19, according to Lawyer Monthly.
Luna’s task force is also looking into other government-related mysteries, such as the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
She describes this effort as a way to address what she calls “an era of secrecy” in US history.
