Body-cam footage from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department captured a suspected UFO soaring across the night sky as some residents claimed they saw 8-feet tall aliens.
The incident occurred late in the evening of April 30, but it has become known thanks to a report and video shown on local TV channel 8 News Now.
A Vegas officer’s camera picked up the object at about 11:50 p.m. on April 30, and, according to the American Meteor Society, its flash was seen as far as Utah and California.

UFO and aliens spotted says Las Vegas resident
Approximately 39 minutes after, another man — who lives about 80 miles from Area 51 — made a chilling call to 911, saying that there were two unknown entities in his backyard after he and his family saw a similar object fall from of the sky.
“There’s like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us [sic] and it has big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,” the homeowner told police dispatch, according to audio obtained by the TV channel.
“In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified,” he added.
“They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100% not human,” he claimed.
Responding units were terrified of the circumstances, audio from their body cameras revealed.
“I’m so nervous right now,” said one officer. “I have butterflies, bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there are aliens in their backyard.”
After police spoke with the man, one officer even corroborated some of the witness’ story.
“I’m not going to BS you guys. One of my partners said they saw something fall out of the sky, too,” the officer said.
After first responders searched the area and interviewed other witnesses, no new information had been obtained.
Does the US collect intact UFOs?
The incident at Las Vegas comes as a former intelligence official, David Charles Grusch, who served in the Air Force, claimed the United States government has been secretly gathering intact spacecraft from extraterrestrial origins for many years as part of a covert operation related to UFOs.
In an exclusive interview, Grusch shared that he has submitted compelling evidence of this hidden program to Congress and the Intelligence Community inspector general.
He has done so by filing a whistleblower complaint, raising serious concerns about the secrecy surrounding this matter.
Earlier in June NASA held a public gathering of its independent study group on UFOs that has uncovered significant findings about mysterious objects that have been detected “across the globe.”
The meeting also highlighted the urgent need for additional resources to investigate UFOs, now referred to as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) to encompass a wider range of reported sightings and cases.
