A recent book about the Spanish royal family reveals that former king Juan Carlos has a daughter named Alejandra who is not publicly known. The book was written by two journalists and sheds light on the controversial family secret.
Alejandra’s Birth
Alejandra was born in the late 1970s or early 1980s and is currently married with a child. Despite discovering the truth about her father’s identity years ago, she has never made any claim to the throne.
According to the book, Juan Carlos was concerned that his secret daughter and Spain’s current king, Felipe VI, might develop feelings for each other without knowing they were related.
Therefore, he took steps to prevent such a situation from arising. Juan Carlos informed the palace officials about his daughter after both Alejandra and Felipe VI became adults.

A Spanish news website called El Confidencial has revealed information about the book before its official release on May 8th. According to the website, Alejandra’s identity as the secret daughter of former Spanish king Juan Carlos had become an “open secret” among those in the highest levels of power.
Three individuals, including one of Alejandra’s ex-boyfriends, a former lover of the ex-king, and a long-time friend of his, have reportedly confirmed her existence. The book also states that Juan Carlos met Alejandra’s mother when they were both young, and they shared a mutual interest in hunting and had common friends.
As per the book, titled ‘King Corp, El Imperio nunca contado de Juan Carlos I’ and authored by Jose Maria Olmo and David Fernandez, Alejandra has never spoken publicly about her secret. The book describes her as tall, slim, and attractive. She has modeled for various clothing and jewelry brands.
“She is passionate about music, culture and travel and has formed her own family. Making public more information would put her discretion in danger.”
Timing of the Shocking Revelations
The shocking revelations about Juan Carlos, the former king of Spain, have come to light just days after he was seen at a Champions League match in London, having flown in from his hideaway in the Middle East.
According to reports, the ex-king, who is recognized as the father of three adult children, including the current king of Spain, recently spent a few days in the Spanish resort of Sanxenxo, marking only his second trip back to the country since his sudden departure in August 2020, when he was facing corruption investigations and legal battles in Spain.
One of these legal battles involved his former lover, Corinna zu Wittgenstein-Sayn, who accused him of harassment, and the case was heard in London’s Court of Appeal last year.

Interestingly, Spanish royal expert Pilar Eyre had hinted at the existence of Juan Carlos’s secret daughter, who is reportedly an aristocrat, back in December 2017. Eyre had described the woman as someone who could be on the front cover of a magazine.

Eyre stated that the girl was from an aristocratic family and her parents knew who her real father was. Eyre never revealed the identity of the woman, but her recent claims align with the new book, which suggests that the former king has a daughter named Alejandra.
