A US Navy warship USS Kearsafe has reportedly had a UFO encounter with two car-sized balls of light in October 2021, it is claimed.
The documentary filmmaker Dave C. Beaty reported the sightings which occurred over several nights. At least two objects lurked over the warship while it was on a training exercise off the east coast of the US.
Beaty was contacted by a now-retired US Marines officer who described the phenomena as odd “balls of light” which followed the ship close behind for about half a mile. The unidentified objects are said to have lurked about 200 feet above the ocean.
It’s thought the objects were spotted by the desk watch at night who could not gain thermal targeting lock on them while the incident was recorded by the crew.
Apparently, marines on board thought the unidentified objects were related to a surprise training exercise for new anti-drone weapons.
However, they discovered the countermeasures did not interfere with the objects, which were said to have been swooping down as they followed the ship.
When USS Kearsage radioed command about the object, it was informed the objects were “not ours,” the retired marines officer told Beaty.
The filmmaker is now working to uncover what occurred in the latest UFO incident reported to have been encountered by the US Navy.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Beaty said: “So what once were UAP sightings that were ignored or never logged…today more service members are reporting them, [and] this leads to the indications that more are being observed.”
He added that the stigma around reporting these strange events is now breaking down.
National Intelligence report on UFOs
A report released in 2021 by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence says the U.S. government can’t explain 143 of the 144 cases of unidentified flying objects reported by military planes.
The report which was meant to shed light on the mystery of those dozens of flying objects spotted from 2004 to 2021, said it didn’t have adequate data to categorize all of them.
Most importantly, the UFO report claims there were “no clear indications that there is any non-terrestrial explanation” for the aircraft’ on the other hand, this was also not ruled out.
Congress requested the report after the US military reported numerous instances of objects observed moving erratically in the sky.
The Pentagon then established the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force in August 2020 to further investigate the reports.
Former US President Barak Obama opened up about the existence of UFOs and alien life in an interview on CBS in May 2021.
“When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” Obama said, smiling. Obama told CBS that he was eager to find out about UFOs and real alien encounters when he became President.
“Truth is that when I came into office, I was like, ‘Alright, is there a lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and spaceships?’ And they did a little bit of research and the answer was no,” Obama explained regarding the subject.
