A lucky pair looking to work remotely in Greece from a luxury villa on the stunning Greek island of Corfu will win the chance to live their dream for free for one entire month from the company CV Villas.

The competition, free for anyone to enter, is perfect for those looking to take virtual meetings poolside and transform the breathtaking island of Corfu into their own office.

Digital nomads work remotely in Greece

The competition to work remotely from paradise taps into the current professional realities of many across the world due to Covid-19. Those who once worked in cubicles or desks in sprawling offices have now been working from home or remotely for the better part of the last year.
For some, this shift to remote work has proven to be welcome, improving their professional and personal lives. Others are starving for exploration and adventure because of Covid-19 restrictions, and see the change as the perfect opportunity to work and travel once it’s safe.
Large corporations around the world have found worker productivity and satisfaction to be increased now that many have the freedom to work wherever their employees want, and following their own schedules.
Some companies, like Google, have even suggested that they would continue this work-from-home model for the majority of their staff even after the pandemic is long over.
Greece is looking to court some of these digital nomads, or those who can work remotely from anywhere in the world, to move to the country, bringing with them economic resources, creativity, and knowledge.
The country has started by reducing taxes by 50% for those who decide to make Greece their home base. Additionally, Greece has promised significant tax benefits to court Greeks living abroad, lost to the brain drain during the financial crisis, to return to the country.
This model has proven to be quite effective, bringing in a number of highly-qualified, creative workers already working remotely to Greece, drawn to the country’s vibrant culture and stunning natural landscapes.
Tech and pharmaceutical giants, such as Microsoft and Pfizer, have even begun major operations in the country, which was once mired in an immense economic recession.

Work from a Greek Villa

Those looking to join the fleet of digital nomads who have flocked to the Mediterranean country will find CV Villa’s competition allowing them to live in a Greek villa for a month particularly enticing.
Applicants will be judged based on their answers as to why they need a change in office location, and CV Villas will cover the cost of flights to Corfu from Gatwick Airport in the UK.
In addition to high-speed wifi, a must for working from home, the villa is also appointed with a luxurious private pool, hot tub, and a lovely yard, which all combine to make for the perfect office environment in the sunshine of Greece.
Just a short walk away from the nearest beach, the lucky winners of the contest will be able to escape from the virtual world and take a dip in the island’s crystalline waters after they finish their work for the day.
Applications for the exceptional opportunity to live and work in paradise are now open. The free stay in Corfu will last from April 5, 2021 to May 3, 2021.
