Greek-Australian singer and songwriter VASSY has just joined music’s “1,000,000,000 List,” which honors musicians who have surpassed a billion streams for their work.
The particular song VASSY was honored for was “Bad”, her catchy collaboration with David Guetta and Showtek.
Perhaps it’s little surprising that VASSY’s vocals on “Bad” earned her this prestigious honor, as the single topped the charts in several countries after its release back in 2014. VASSY also previously took home an IDMA (International Dance Music Award) for her work on the song, for “Best Featured Vocalist Performance”.
In addition to the vocals, VASSY was also credited as a co-writer on the song along with Guetta, Showtek, and Sulta & Shepard.
Since “Bad”, VASSY has been busy collaborating with some of the biggest names in music, like Afrojack and Tiesto, while releasing hit after hit. In fact, six of her songs have hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
