According to Eleftheria Deko, the head of the new lighting project, the test was the result of intense work and study of the site. In order to best highlight Greece’s most recognizable structure, technicians had to analyze every single aspect of the Parthenon, as well as its surroundings.
The official date of implementation for the new lighting on the Acropolis has not been announced as of yet.
