Greek Super League Leaders Drop Points in Championship Race (Highlights)

Reigning Greek champion PAOK on Sunday missed the chance to catch up with Olympiakos at the top of the Greek Super League dropping two points against Panathinaikos in a thrilling game at Toumba stadium.
PAOK came within seconds of losing their long unbeaten domestic record but scored through a controversial penalty via the Video Assistant Referee on the sixth minute of injury time to earn a 2-2 draw.
PAOK’s captain Andre Vieirinha, who only recently returned to action following a sixth-month injury absence, showed nerves of steel to convert the penalty.
Panathinaikos, who have struggled with inconsistent form as well as their financial troubles, took a shock 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Ghayas Zahid and Federico Macheda.

On Saturday Olympiacos had several chances to score at Xanthi, but the fifth-placed host held out for a goalless draw.

AEK beat Atromitos 3-2 after a gripping game at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday to climb to third and cut its distance from the top to six points.
Atromitos led with Giorgos Manousos getting the rebound from a penalty save, but AEK recovered to advance 2-1 through an own goal by Atromitos keeper Christos Mandas and a strike by Nelson Oliveira. One minute from the end Thanassis Androutsos equalized for Atromitos before Oliveira gave AEK all three points deep into injury time.
