Approximately ten members of the royal family of Jordan recently spent a few days on Greece’s idyllic island of Skiathos to enjoy their summer break, according to reports on Wednesday.
Reports from several sources on the island said that the royal family from the Middle East nation was there for an incognito visit, but it is not clear if King Abdullah and Queen Rania themselves were on the island, or just other members of their family.
According to locals, ten members of the Jordanian party went to a taverna somewhere on the island and enjoyed local dishes, mostly fish and other seafood. The same source stated that the royals acted in a very unassuming manner and it would have been impossible for most people to have realized who they were unless they had known them.
Earlier this month, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman, was also seen vacationing on Skiathos, an island in the Sporades archipelago.
A large, athletic figure thought to be the Crown Prince landed at the island’s airport and then directly boarded a motor yacht named the ”Tacanuyaso MS” in Skiathos Harbor, on which he spent his vacation.
He and members of his family were also spotted by others later in the week on the nearby island of Alonissos, another spectacularly lovely island in the archipelago of the Northern Sporades.
Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco also vacationed on Skiathos in the early days of July, making the Greek island undoubtedly one of the most popular tourist destinations for royals this year!
