Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, the chairman and chief executive officer of Facebook, marked his wedding anniversary on Friday with a trip to Greece.
Together with Priscilla Chan, his wife of seven years, Zuckerberg posed in front of the Parthenon, atop the Acropolis.
“Celebrating 7 years of happy marriage at the temple for the goddess of wisdom,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post.
Zuckerberg met his future wife at a fraternity party during his sophomore year at Harvard. They began dating in 2003.
On May 19, 2012, Zuckerberg and Chan married in Zuckerberg’s backyard in an event which also celebrated her graduation from medical school.
Time magazine has named Zuckerberg among the 100 wealthiest and most influential people in the world as a part of its Person of the Year award every year since 2010.
Zuckerberg, who has been under fire over widespread privacy issues regarding Facebook, has recently said he is committed to turning his company around.
In April, he announced that Facebook would transition away from its “News Feed” and public post format and toward a “privacy-focused communications platform” which unified its messaging products around concepts such as ephemerality and encryption.
