Greece's Tsipras to Meet with Erdogan in New York


The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will visit New York to participate in the proceedings of the UN General Assembly.
Tsipras will also meet there the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The bilateral relations along with the Cyprus issue and the 8 Turkish officers who are in Greece will be among the issues that the two leaders will discuss.
On Monday, Tsipras will address the Nelson Mandela Peace UN Summit and in the evening, he will attend a reception held by U.S. President Donald Trump in honor of the heads of delegations taking part in the United Nations’ General Assembly.
The Prime Minister’s meeting with the UN Secretary-General is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
