The 12th Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) held its official opening night on June 6 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Greek and Greek-American actors, musicians, and entertainers walked the red carpet before the opening night premiere of “Smuggling Hendrix” at 7 PM. The first movie of the 2018 LAGFF technically premiered at June 4 at UCLA’s James Bridges Theater with a screening of “1968” by Tassos Boulmetis; however, this was the first official screening at the festival’s home venue of the Egyptian Theatre.
The festival will run until June 10, when it will close with a screening of “Perfect Strangers”, followed by the annual Orpheus Awards. Check out the full 2018 film lineup at lagff.com.
We spoke to several stars on the red carpet, including Nia Vardalos, VASSY, Christos Vasilopoulos, and other VIP guests.
Stay tuned for the full video of red carpet arrivals and interviews at LAGFF opening night, coming soon!
