Members of Rubicon anarchist group disrupted a speech by Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Athens on Monday.
The perpetrators threw flyers and shouted slogans. According to police sources, authorities trapped the perpetrators in the building and proceeded with 20 arrests.
The Tsakalotos speech to the Chamber members and other guests continued as planned.
Earlier, Rubicon posted a long statement on an anarchist website accusing the government of austerity policies in labor, welfare and banking issues.
“WITH SYRIZA, PASOK or New Democracy, the enemy is in the banks and the Boards” ends the post of the anarchist group.
