US Sailors Clean-Up Greek Cemetery Devastated by Floods (video)


Following the disastrous floods in Mandra, west Attica, a group of 8 U.S. sailors from the USNS Trenton, participated in a clean-up project for the town’s cemetery, which took a devastating blow.

The USNS Trenton, crewed by nearly 80 U.S. Navy Sailors and civil service mariners, forms part of the US Sixth Fleet.
USNS Trenton is a versatile, non-combatant transport ship, that is capable of transporting 600 short tons 1,200 nautical miles at an average speed of 35 knots, and are designed to operate in austere ports and waterways, providing added flexibility to U.S. warfighters worldwide.
It paid its first visit to Greece last Summer.
