Greek Growth Forecast for 2017 Reduced to 1.8 percent by Finance Ministry

The Greek growth forecast for 2017 is depreciating greatly from what was once a 2.7 percent expected growth.
Just one day after the European Commission said that they expected only a 2.1 percent growth for Greece, and according to a publication of an assessment report by Hellenic Fiscal Council last week, the country’s Finance Ministry has now lowered its 2.7 projection to only 1.8 percent.
The new adjusted growth projections from the ministry are 1.8 percent for 2017, 2.4 percent in 2018, 2.6 percent in 2019, 2.3 percent in 2020 and 2.2 percent in 2021.
