Hellenic Ancient Drama and Arts Foundation Presents ‘Antigone’ by Sophocles in New York


The Hellenic Ancient Drama and Arts Foundation recently announced that there will be 3 VIP performances of their play “Antigone” by Sophocles, of which Eftychia Loizides is directing on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March at Theatre Row at 410W 42nd street in New York.

The play “Antigone” is one of the finest works of ancient Greek drama, Antigone brings the conflict between moral and state law to its boiling point.

The special performances this weekend are called “VIP” because a discussion, or exchange of ideas, will take place after the play and audience will also be given the opportunity to meet the director and cast. What is more, these VIP performances may be enjoyed at a discounted price of $35 (from $45).
