Seven Army Recruits Sentenced to Prison for Making Pro-Albanian Nationalistic Symbol

Following seven army recruits forming a pro-Albanian nationalistic symbol with their hands, taking a photo and then posting it on social media, an internal military investigation has led to them being sentenced to 60 days in prison.
The seven soldiers who were recruited at the Mesolongi army boot camp were of Albanian ethnic background and the symbol of the double-eagle is considered to be associated with Albanian irredentism and nationalism.
