Red Beach in Crete Among Best Nudist Beaches in the World

red-beach-creteThe secluded Red Beach in Crete, Greece, was chosen as one of the best nudist beaches in the world by Fox News, based on data collected from Yahoo Travel. In fact, the Greek beach was placed second, right after Little Beach in Maui.
“There are two things you’ll immediately notice as you stroll along Red Beach. First, the sand is red. And secondly, most people aren’t wearing clothes. Located on the southern coast of the Greek island of Crete, this somewhat secluded beach is easily reached by boat, or by hiking 25 minutes from Matala,” noted Fox News.
“Its location, off the beaten path, makes it an ideal place to go nude without creeps sneaking a peek,” it added.
Furthermore, there is a marine cave formed by the tall rocks that surround the beach on the north side. Adventurous visitors can explore the cave that can be reached by canoeing or even swimming.
The world’s top nudist beaches as featured in Fox News:
1. Little Beach, Maui
2. Red Beach, Crete
3. Samurai Beach, Australia
4. Praia do pinho, Brazil
5. Plage de Tahiti, Saint Tropez
6. Haulover Beach, Miami
