The government board of administrative reform discussed the continuation of the mobility program, the acceleration of the evaluation process of private legal entities, and the issue of dismissals and the creation of more than 10,000 job positions.
In Specific, the Greek Minister for Administrative Reform, Kyriakos Mitsotakis informed the ministers Stournaras, Hatzidakis and Michelakis about the completion of the first wave of mobility of 12,500 employees. Moreover, Mitsotakis referred to the repositioning of 2,800 municipal policemen.
There is a second wave of mobility planned that will be completed in the first quarter of 2014. According to government sources, as far as EOPYY is concerned, the evaluation will be completed in the first 15 days of December. Regarding Local Government Organizations, there will be mandatory and voluntary intermunicipal mobility.
Finally, in 2014 there will be more than 10,000 new jobs mainly in the sector of healthcare, security and tax collection. The next 5,000 recruitments promised by the government are expected in 2015.
