The Westin Athens hotel introduces the matrimony of the Turkish and Greek cuisines. Under the aegis of the Turkish Embassy and Turkish Airlines, the Westin Athens will host the First Annual Turkish Food Festival.
Two Turkish chefs from the Sheraton Maslak Istanbul, both members of the Turkish National Culinary Team, Mr. Huseyın Uysal and Mr. Taner Karagöl will present a number of authentic Turkish flavors from all corners of Turkey.This aspiring event invites the Turkish cuisine to make its way into the Greek culture.
The Turkish Ambassador to Greece, Hasan Gogus and chief executive of Turkish Airlines, Gulay Ozturk, welcomed the festival’s attendees that included among others foreign ambassadors, businessmen, media representatives, as well as TV Channels of Turkey such as CNN Turk and TRT Turk.
The festival will be held at the Al Fresco Restaurant October 14-25, 2011 daily from 19:30-00:00 and weekends from 13:00-16:30, 19:30-00:00.
During the Festival there will be a raffle for a 3 night stay at the Sheraton Maslak Istanbul. The air tickets are sponsored by Turkish Airlines.
