Klavdia to compete against 15 nations in Eurovision Final
The 10 countries that qualified in last night’s semi-final include Lithuania, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Malta, and Greece.
Last year’s winner, Switzerland, and the Big-5 countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom) have already secured a place in the final.
Klavdia, whose full name is Klavdia Papadopoulou, is a 22-year-old singer of Pontic descent. She came to be known to the public through the talent show The Voice of Greece, and released her debut single in 2022 with the title Lonely Heart.
With Greece among the ten nations advancing to the final, anticipation is building for Klavdia’s next captivating performance on Saturday night, promising another unforgettable moment in Eurovision history.
In the final, every participating country is awarded two sets of scores—one from a jury of music experts and one from fans around Europe.
Viewers are allowed a maximum of 20 votes, which they can cast via phone call, SMS, or the official Eurovision app. They may vote for as many different performers as they like, but votes for your home country are not allowed.
Once the lines close, each country will have chosen a “Top 10” of their favorite songs. The most popular song gets 12 points, the second choice gets 10, and the rest are scored from eight to one.
Viewers from countries that don’t participate in Eurovision also get a say. Their choices are bundled into a single bloc known as the “rest of the world vote.”
