Their wealth is primarily derived from Coca-Cola HBC, a bottling empire that operates across a total of 28 countries.
Alki David was born in Nigeria to Greek Cypriot parents.
Born in Petra, Cyprus, his father, Andrew A. David (1934–2000), attended Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, to study business. Andrew A. David became the manager of the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Accra, Ghana, when he joined the family-run Leventis-David Group in 1957.
During his successful business journey, Alki David has also ventured into media with his live-streaming platform FilmOn.
The family’s business endeavours have helped them solidify their status as one of the most influential dynasties within the Greek Cypriot community of the UK.

When his family fled the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, he arrived in London as a young boy. When Christodoulou was nine years old and fled to the UK, his father allegedly refused to rent a council flat, choosing instead to rent in a safer area and risk the security of a lifelong lease.
