Some Hollywood celebrity A-listers have lost their homes to the increasingly brutal LA fire flames. The fire has destroyed nearly 2,000 structures in the Los Angeles area. Close to six separate fires burned in the city and surrounding area.

Pacific Palisades is among the hardest-hit areas in the region, with fires consuming over 15,000 acres.

The flames have devastated large portions of the neighborhood, stretching from the Santa Monica Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.

Anthony Hopkins

Hopkins, who acquired a stunning four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Pacific Palisades for $6 million in 2021, saw his property destroyed by the flames.

Photos reveal the blackened remnants of the classic colonial home, with a scorched fence as the sole reminder of what was once a magnificent residence.

The purchase marked a new chapter for the Oscar-winning actor, coming shortly after he sold his longtime Malibu oceanfront estate for $10.5 million—more than double what he paid for it back in 2001.

James Woods

In an interview with CNN, actor James Woods broke down in tears after he described what it felt like to lose his Pacific Palisades home. “One day you’re swimming in the pool and the next day it’s all gone”, he said.

He also told the network that his wife’s niece who is only 8 years old, offered them her piggy bank to help rebuild their home.

Billy Crystal

Actor Billy Crystal, best known for his role as Harry in When Harry Met Sally, released a statement saying that he and his wife Janice were heartbroken, as the pair also lost their Pacific Palisades property.

The pair had lived there since 1979. The statement added that every inch of their house was filled with love and beautiful memories. They also said they had raised their children and grandchildren in the house.

Paris Hilton

In an Instagram post, Paris Hilton announced she had lost her Malibu home. “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burned to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she said.

The hotel heiress added, “This home is where we built so many precious memories… My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires.”

Many celebrities were forced to evacuate their homes over the flames

Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry also suffered the loss of their home in the Pacific Palisades. Sperry posted a picture of the fire on Instagram with a heartbroken emoji caption. She also encouraged people to leave bowls of water for the affected animals.

Several other esteemed celebrities, including John Goodman, and Cary Elwes have reportedly lost their homes. Additionally, Eugene Levy, Mark Hamill, and other prominent figures were forced to evacuate.
