Billionaire Jeff Bezos and his glamorous fiancé Lauren Sanchez continue island hopping in Greece for a second week.
The pair engaged in May 2023 was joined in the Greek island adventure by Bezos’s son, Preston, who has not publicly appeared since 2019 when he accompanied his father to the American Portrait Gala at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
After being spotted on the romantic island of Hydra walking holding hands along a promenade before going for a sea-front dinner together, the pair was seen on the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos.
They were seen walking along the narrow streets of Mykonos which are like a charming labyrinth. Bezos was friendly with the paparazzi and expressed his joy for being back on the Greek island.
Bezos and Sanchez are island-hopping in Greece aboard the “Koru”, a remarkable 127-meter schooner with three masts reaching a staggering height of seventy meters. The construction of the vessel came at a substantial cost of half a billion dollars.
Ranked as the thirty-second largest yacht globally, “Koru” has an annual operational cost of approximately twenty-five million dollars. The superyacht can accommodate eighteen guests and requires a crew of forty sailors to manage its amenities.
Pair visits Greece’s Pserimos Island
The next stop of Bezos’s superyacht “Koru,” was the small Greek island of Pserimos lying between Kalymnos and Kos in front of the coast of Turkey.
Pserimos is famous for its secluded beaches which are best reached by the sea. The beaches of Vathis, Panaghia Grafiotissa and Marathontas have sand and fine shingles, lapped by blue waters.
How Bezos proposed to Sanchez
Sanchez and Bezos got engaged in early 2023, and Lauren opened up about the moment Jeff asked her to marry him to Vogue last year.
She recalled how Bezos popped the question on his $500 million superyacht after they enjoyed a romantic dinner under the stars together.
Sanchez said Bezos concealed the huge diamond ring under her pillow, and that she almost ‘blacked out’ when she discovered it at the end of the evening just before they went to bed.
The couple recently relocated from Seattle, Washington, to Indian Creek Island in Florida – with Jeff purchasing three mansions on the island, totaling a whopping $237 million.
