Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, and Other NBA Stars Holidaying in Greece

Several high-profile NBA stars including Shaquille O’Neal and Magic Johnson have been spotted holidaying in Greece.

Most of the basketball stars were seen vacationing on the Greek island of Mykonos with their partners. Shaquille O’Neal, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Patrick Beverley, and Ivica Zubac were all spotted enjoying their holidays in Mykonos.

Meanwhile, Earvin “Magic” Johnson Jr. posted a photograph on social media of himself and his family onboard their yacht which is currently traversing the beautiful blue waters of the Greek Mediterranean.

Shaquille O’Neal and other NBA stars vacationing in Greece

 NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was spotted this week by Mykonos Live TV partying at one of the many bars on the Greek island of Mykonos.

Indeed, the Greek island has become a popular destination this season for elite basketballers, resembling a grand NBA training camp, with numerous stars from the world’s top basketball league choosing the island of the winds for their holidays.

One such celebrity hotspot is the beach bar of the Branco hotel, where Mykonos Live TV captured the Los Angeles Clippers’ standout, Paul George, enjoying the sun and sea alongside his wife of one year, Daniela Rajic.

In the company of Paul George were other NBA stars, such as Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves, accompanied by his influencer partner, Jordyn Woods. Also present was Patrick Beverley, the guard of the Philadelphia 76ers, who was joined by his long-time partner, Mandana Bolourchi. Mandana, who boasts an impressive following of 623 thousand on Instagram, is known for her philanthropic endeavors and expertise in the world of fashion.

Completing the star-studded gathering was Ivica Zubac, George’s Clippers teammate, making it a true gathering of basketball luminaries on the scenic shores of Mykonos.

Around the same time, former NBA star Magic Johnson posted a picture on Instagram of his family yachting in Greece. “My family and I rocking our new Commanders swag on the yacht today in Greece!” said the accompanying caption.

Celebrities choosing Greece for their holidays

This summer season has seen several celebrities from both the sporting and Hollywood worlds pick Greece for their holidays.

For example, during his yachting tour of the Eastern Mediterranean, tennis star Rafael Nadal made a visit to the Greek city of Patras. The famous athlete was spotted earlier last week touring the Ionian islands including Corfu, Meganisi, and Ithaca.

In June, Hollywood actors Matt Damon and Chris and Liam Hemsworth were spotted on the Greek island of Mykonos. George Clooney was also recently present on the island for a promotional event.
