Jeff Bezos Spotted on His $500 Million Megayacht with Girlfriend

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez were seen kissing on Jeff Bezos’s newly acquired megayacht, valued at $500 million, near the Spanish island of Mallorca.

The Amazon billionaire, aged 59, and his girlfriend, aged 53, warmly embraced each other before continuing their exploration of the world’s tallest ship on a Sunday afternoon.

They arrived in Europe on Jeff Bezos’s private jet and made an impressive entrance onto the yacht, named Koru, by helicopter.

Lauren Sanchez stepped off the helicopter wearing a stylish black and white sweater, white trousers, and a red handbag. Jeff Bezos opted for a sleek all-black outfit and aviator sunglasses.

The couple enjoyed the Mediterranean sun while touring the enormous ship, interacting with the crew as they walked from the front to the back.

Boxes containing supplies, including packages from Amazon and garment bags from designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, were observed being unloaded from Jeff Bezos’s jet.

World’s tallest yacht

The founder of Amazon commissioned the construction of a new yacht in 2018. The yacht, named Koru, cost an astounding $500 million and holds the distinction of being the tallest yacht globally, measuring over 230 feet in height.

Originally known as Y721 or Project 721, the yacht was later given the name Koru, which translates to “new beginnings” in Maori.

With a length of 127 meters and triple masts reaching a height of 70 meters, this sailing yacht is nearly half the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Maintaining such luxury comes with a hefty price tag, estimated to be around $25 million annually.

Bezos and his partner, Lauren Sanchez, were recently seen enjoying a luxury getaway after attending the Grand Prix weekend in Florida. Prior to that, they were spotted at Carbone Beach, an extravagant supper club that was built to celebrate Miami’s racing week.

During their Miami excursion, Bezos sported a maroon t-shirt, while Sanchez wore a sparkling ensemble and nude heels, adding to the glamorous atmosphere reminiscent of “The Great Gatsby.”

In early May, the couple arrived at Van Nuys airport in their private jet, following their attendance at the Coachella music festival, where they were seen socializing with Kris Jenner.
