Grace Hotel Santorini has been recognized as the second best hotel in the world by acclaimed travel media brand Travel+Leisure.

In T+L’s 2022 “World’s Best Awards,” the multi-award-winning Grace Hotel, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, was also recognized as the top resort in Greece for the second year in a row and the second best hotel in Europe, having achieved a score of 99.22 points against 99.25 of the first spot winner.

“We are beyond honored to be named on Travel+Leisure’s 2022 World’s Best Awards,” Grace Hotel Santorini said in a Facebook post.

“These awards are a reflection of hard work, dedication, deeply personalized service and authentic hospitality to create an enriching one of a kind experience for our guests,” it added.

Unique experience at Grace Hotel Santorini

Owned by Libra Group’s Athens and Madrid-based real estate subsidiary Sparta, Grace Hotel Santorini sits on a cliff in the scenic village of Imerovigli with gorgeous views of the sea and Skaros Rock.

In addition to a breathtaking infinity pool, the hotel offers luxury suites, which come with private plunge pools and oversize patios and an unforgettable dining experience run by Greece’s Michelin-starred chef, Lefteris Lazarou.

Recently introduced is the Gastronomic Journey of Varoulko Santorini, a curated series of wine events with local vineyards.

On the whitewashed terraces of Grace Hotel, exceptional local grape varieties, such as Assyrtiko, Athiri, Aidani, and Mandilaria from award-winning wineries, meet the sumptuous flavors of chef Lazarou’s special pairing menu for a sensory experience like no other, Grace Hotel Santorini explains on its Facebook page.

Between July 22nd and August 14th, experienced sommeliers from top island wineries will be visiting the hotel to introduce guests to the most balanced, intriguing wine pairings, opening up a brand new world of taste and letting them into the secrets of centuries-old traditions.

Grace Hotel owner company’s social footprint

The Libra Group is a privately-owned international business group that controls thirty subsidiaries, active in over fifty countries across six continents. Wholly-owned by the Logothetis family, it is focused on six core sectors: aviation, energy, finance and diversified, hospitality, real estate, and shipping.

Part of Libra Group’s responsibility is to actively give back to the Greek and international community, through a series of managed programs and initiatives broadly linked to community support and assisting people with limited opportunity.

Its philanthropical, educational, and other non-profit programs benefit underprivileged groups around the globe.

“You cannot escape conflict, injustice, suffering, and pain. But, you can elect how to respond to it and what you take from it,” Libra Group’s Chairman and CEO, George Logothetis, said recently in his award acceptance speech at the 2022 One To World Fulbright Awards Dinner in New York. “The path of betterness or the path of bitterness.”
